I was a copywriter before I knew I was a copywriter.

Starting my working life off as a paramedic and medical educator, I listened to patients pain points, developing curriculum to meet learners where they were as providers.

When I was hired at a local startup to promote the value of simulation in healthcare, I spent 6 years learning the finer points of sales writing:

  • Tapping into “The WHY”. I learned to unearth the target audiences frame of reference and what drove them.

  • I honed in the details of my writing to meet learners where they were at in their careers.

  • I persuaded students to take the next right actionable step in our preplanned journey by giving the right noise and signal in the curriculum development.

You can find me at the peak of a mountain, and most definitely snowboarding my way down in the winter months.

Growing up in a landlocked state I developed a knack for surfing.

I groove on anything from the 70’s and contemplate the true meaning of life while studying astronomy in the starry night sky.

I would take a night in playing guitar and songwriting over drinks at the bar.

And I live to be on the open road and traveling in my Japanese camper van, Sweet Virginia.
